Crock Pot Brown Sugar Chicken

Crock Pot Brown Sugar Chicken - Rebekah and her Ramblings. An easy crock pot meal packed with flavor!I gotta tell you, I am all kinds of tired tonight and can’t think of anything to tell you about my life.  All I gotta say is make this chicken ASAP and feast on it.  I ate it over 3 meals and was so satisfied each time.  Gluten free (IF you use gluten free soy sauce) and amazing because crock pots are one of the greatest inventions around

Crock Pot Brown Sugar Chicken
Serves: 3          Total Time: 4-6 hours

Crock Pot Brown Sugar Chicken - Rebekah and her Ramblings. An easy crock pot meal packed with flavor! What you need:

  • 6 chicken thighs, skin removed (you can also use 4 chicken breasts and shred the chicken and eat in a taco or on a bun!!)
  • garlic salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 6 oz. can of pineapple juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

Directions:

  • Season the chicken with the pepper and garlic salt, add to crock pot
  • Add the brown sugar, pineapple juice, and soy sauce to the crock pot, stir and cook on low for 4-6 hours.  At about 5 hours, my chicken was falling off the bone.  I have a very warm crock pot, so adjust cooking time as you need (If you use chicken breasts to make pulled chicken, I was able to shred mine in right around 4 hours)

This recipe is adapted from Deep South Dish.
