The Last 2 Dayssss

Okay, Sunday, after the Tigers won (again) I went to church, and then me, Jeff, Ruben, and Brady went to Chipotle and then to Jeff and Brady’s to watch A Few Good Men – really really really good. Then I went to work until about 12:30. #makingmoney Yesterday, I went to work, came home to my lovely apartment, listened to the Tigers, ate a big salad for dinner, and then read after the game. Oh and I decorated my mirror. I tried to take a picture, but the lighting in my room is weird, so the flash was coming on, but then you couldn’t see the mirror. Just take my word for it, it’s really cool looking! I went to work this morning, had a very great day, went to 12th Man afterwards, and then came home, listened to the Tigers (win again), ate another salad for dinner (perfect when it’s sooo freaking hot) and then when the Tigers game was over, Ruben wanted Layne’s so I went and picked him up. Then I came back here, ate some ice cream, and now I’m just hanging out! Life is purdy goooood.

Quote: “Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy.” Can you tell I like happiness quotes? I’m a big believer in making your own happiness, and making life fun. I’m pretty sure I learned that from my daddy who literally made everything into a game. There’s good in everything peeps 🙂

The weekend :)

On Friday, Hannah came into town and we officially signed our lease!! WHOOP! I made a pizza and we ate some grapes too for dinner, it was quite delicious. We then hung out with Jeff, Brady, and Ruben and watched Stranger Than Fiction. I’m pretty sure that I’ve seen that before, but I couldn’t remember all of it. On Saturday, Hannah and I went shopping, I bought 2 bottles of nail polish and a thing of lotion, and Hannah bought some totes presh heels. Thennnn we made chocolate chip cookies, freaking fantastic if I do say so myself, and watched Wayne’s World at Jeff’s and then we came back here and watched Dumb and Dumber.  Hannah had to leave Sunday morning, and after she left, I went back to sleep. I listened to the Tigers, ate an omelette, watched some of the soccer game (USA! USA!), and just was lazy until I went to church. I had some chips and salsa for dinner, and then ended up going to bed around 10. I woke up feeling pretty refreshed. I’m going to watch Date Night in a bit.

Wednesday-Monday

Sorry (all 2 of you who care) that I haven’t posted in so long!! I’m totally out of the habit 🙂 Anywho… let’s see… the last thing I posted was about the All-Star game, but I posted before Mariano Rivera a.k.a. the best closer of all time came in.  I posted the video of him coming in below, I literally was covered in chills and got super choked up. Mo’s one of the greatest humans to ever play the game, and I love him, even if he is a Yankee!! 😉 On Wednesday, the boys came over to watch the ESPY’s (average, at best unfortunately) and then on Thursday, I went to see Pacific Rim with Jeff. On Friday, I went to Katy to spend the weekend with Hannah. We went to Sonic and rented Gangster Squad Friday night, it was average, at best. On Saturday, we went shopping, and I tell you, I haven’t laughed that hard in I don’t know how long. No matter what we do, we always have fun. We made a pintrest dinner of Honey Mustard chicken (maybe a 6.5 out of 10) and then just chilled 🙂 Sunday we got up, went to church, went to PANDA for lunch (#winning) and then went home and watched This is 40. I have to admit, it was a lot more adult if you get what I’m saying than I was expecting… Oh and we ate mint dove bars. It was the best weekend I had in a really long time, and I can’t wait for Hannah to get her butt here to CStat.  I took Ruben to Layne’s last night, and then I finished the 3rd Harry Potter. (if you care (which I’m sure you don’t) I love the 3rd one because Sirius Black is my favorite favorite favorite Harry Potter character) Tonight, I watched The Bourne Ultimatum with Jeff and Brady, and then took Ruben to H-E-B. I also talked some sports with my uncle, which is always fun. My family is coming tomorrow, so that will be good 🙂 All in all, life is pretty dandy!

Here’s the video, totally got chills again (I have a small problem)

Friday-Tuesday

So I went home this past weekend.  I had a really wonderful time, my brother was gone for most of the weekend so I got to see what it was like to be an only child- I liked it, some fun bonding time with my parents! We went shopping for my apartment, watched a good amount of baseball, ate some free chick-fil-a and some Bush’s chicken, and just chilled.  It was nice!  On Monday, which I guess was only yesterday, I went to work, and then went to Jeff’s to watch the Home Run Derby with him, Brady, and Ruben. And then I went to work to get some stuff done. Long day! Today, I went to work, went to get my oil changed, and then came home to watch the All-Star game! It’s been a really good game so far 🙂

Sunday-Thursday

Heyyyyy, so I’m like way out of the routine of posting.  Let me think back… Sunday I woke up in time to see the last point of the grossness that was Andy Murray winning Wimbledon.  That was disgusting. And then I went to church that night, I don’t really remember what I did during the day, I think I just listened to the Tigers and read.  On Monday, I went to work, and then me, Jeff, and Ruben saw Despicable Me 2.  Average, at best.  On Tuesday, I went to work, and then Hannah and her mom came into town for us to take a final look at our unit! We then went to Jason’s Deli with Jeff, Brady, and Ruben. It was fun to hang out with a big group, it felt almost like the school year.  On Wednesday, I went to my normal job, and then to 12th Man to get some work done. Oh, and it was my dad’s birthday, YAY! I was super restless last night so I went for a walk, read, and went on a pintrest fest. Oh and I went to What-A-Burger at like 11 with Ruben for honey butter chicken biscuits, #totesdelish. Today, I went to work, made really good spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner, and then went to Jeff’s to watch iRobot with him and Brady. It was pretty good.  I am now hanging out, tired, but don’t feel like going to bed.  Probably gonna work out, and read, and hangout on pintrest again… #lolmylife

Too lazy to look up a quote tonight… sorry I’m not sorry 😛

Tuesday and Wednesday

Yesterday, I went to work, came home, ate the rest of my On the Border from Monday, and went to Jeff’s to watch Sherlock. It was a pretty good little show thingy, it may be better described as a movie, I’m not sure because they make a bunch of them.  I also watched the Tigers commit 6 errors, that’s a lot fer all ya who don’t get baseball.  Today, I woke up and just decided to be in a good mood.  Let me tell you, best day I’ve had in awhile.  I watched Wimbledon at lunch, and was totally crushed to find out my main man, and the greatest tennis player of all time, Roger Federer was ousted in the 2nd round.  totallllly sucks.  I had a great day at work, and then came home, showered, ate a huge salad and a bunch of strawberries for dinner, and then listened to the Tigers for a bit.  Tonight, they did not commit 6 errors, they just found other ways to lose.  I went over to Jeff’s and me, him, and Brady watched Shawshank Redemption.  Really good movie.  I am now at home, just ate some ice cream, probs gonna hit the hay soon-ish.

Quote: “Choose your attitude.” That was this thing from a video we watched on the dance team in high school, and I’m telling you, choosing to be in a good mood when you wake up is one of the best things you can do!!

The Last 2 Days

Hmmm, what have I done for the last 2 days? Well, yesterday, I woke up, watched the men’s French Open Final, listened to the Tigers (sweeeeeep), and then watched 8 (!!!) episodes of Lizzie McGuire.  I am not embarrassed about this, just for the record.  I went to church last night at 6, then we went to Chipotle.  Afterwards, I went over to Jeff and Brady’s and we watched the basketball game and hung out for a bit before Jeff kicked me out (he’s a jerk).  Then today, I went to work, had a pretty great day, and then ate some corndogs for dinner.  DAY. MADE.  Jeff came over and we watched Perks of Being a Wallflower. It was realllly good, I liked the message and the music.  #hipster4lyfe  We watched a little bit of baseball after the movie was over, and now I am writing to all of you!

Quote: “We accept the love we think we deserve.” –Perks of Being a Wallflower I hope anybody that reads this takes this quote to heart. People suck sometimes, and I hope that none of you settle for sucky ones.  And also, don’t be a sucky human, that sucks too.  It’s important to remember that God has loved us more than we could ever deserve, and so we shouldn’t accept/give crap from/to other people because God has shown us what true love is.  Just a thought 🙂  Have a wonderful night!!!

El Sábado

Ayer, fue sábado (yesterday was Saturday fer all yew non-Spanish folk).  I woke up, watched the Women’s French Open Final, and then ran some errands.  I was trying to find a new bathing suit top that matched these bottoms I have, but I was disappointed.  I did buy a new tank top to go with this skirt I have, so that was super exciting.  I got some What-A-Burger for lunch with a coupon, I haven’t eaten out in a long time, and it was a nice treat.  I laid out for a little over an hour yesterday, but I don’t think I drank enough water beforehand, so I got really hot and came inside.  Lesson learned for next week!  I NEEEEED some sun.  I listened to the Tigers be awesome again yesterday, and read The Notebook.  Yes, the entire thing.  It’s a pretty easy read, though.  I ate some chips and salsa for dinner, and then watched the hockey game at Jeff and Brady’s last night.  Unfortunately, the whiny babies won, but it’s okay, they haven’t won the Stanley Cup yet.

Quote, from The Notebook: “Silence is holy.  It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking.  This is the great paradox.”  I don’t know why I like this so much, I think it’s probably because I’ve always been comfortable with silence.  And reading this seemed to make a lot of sense to me.  adieu until later friends!

The last few days!

Okay, not like anyone has really missed this, BUT I’m so sorry for not posting lately!! I’ve gotten out of my routine, but I promise to try and do better.  Ight… On Tuesday, I went to work, ate a delicious salad for dinner, and then Jeff and Brady came over to watch Lincoln.  And they brought me a milkshake, yay for sweet friends!  Lincoln was pretty good, I think I would watch it again with the subtitles on, there were some parts I had a hard time understanding.  Yesterday, I went to work, ate another delicious salad for dinner, and then rented Django Unchained.  It was fantastic!!  I don’t know how to rank it between Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, and Silver Linings Playbook because they were all really good.  Tonight, I will watch the Heat/Spurs game.  Nothing much else going on 🙂 Quote: “I can’t help it, eating is my hobby.” –I love Lucy  hahahaha Can anyone else relate??  THIS GURRL CAN!
